This Week...

Scott:

1) Said a night-time prayer for the first time. He actually did it 2 or 3 times, saying what I told him to.
2) Started saying "Aerin". He always calls her Beeta Beeba or Turkeybutt, and has never said her actual name, until this week.
3) Counted to 5 all by himself for the first time. We have been counting together for a couple weeks now, using our fingers to show the numbers, and last night, we were sitting watching tv and he lined up Mr. Potatoheads and counted.

It was a good week :)

The Rest of December

Scott's 2 birthday cakes. This first one was for his actual birthday on Dec. 6th, the other one was for his party on the 12th.

Scott and Aerin both have taken a liking to sleeping in each other's bed...their own bed just isn't good enough. She either has to be in his bed with him, or vice versa. The only thing is, Aerin won't go to sleep unless she is in her bed. I think it is a mental thing...she knows she is supposed to sleep in her bed, but in Scott's bed, all she wants to do it play...so they usually end up seperated and in their own beds...lol.

Our letter, cookies and egg nog for Santa and his reindeer (and Mrs. Claus, of course).

Aerin is turning into, how should I put this, an emotionally messed Drama Queen...lol.
This kid is so dramatic and man alive, can she throw a tantrum.
Yeah, if this is what she is like now, I can hardly wait til the teenage years and PMS...lol. She's gonna be a pill...ha ha ha.
Good thing she is cute :)
Here she is having a tantrum...this is just a couple of the pics taken from the episode.

Happy New Year

On New Year's Eve, Daddy had to work, so Mummy took us outside and let us hold sparklers to ring in the New Year. Of course, this was done at a time appropriate for kids our age...even Mummy was alseep by midnight :)

SANTA!!!

We got to see Santa this past weekend.
We went to our church Christmas party and when Santa said it was time to go see him, Aerin ran as fast as she could to get in line. She was in the mob of big kids and surprisingly, did not get trampled...lol.
That kid can hold her own.
Scott and Mum had to go find her. Since she was farther ahead in line than we were, we were able to join her farther up in the line...yeah, Aerin rocks!!!
Mum was having a hard time after awhile standing with us cause Baby Liam was hurting her, so some other kids let us go ahead of them so we could be in line for a shorter time. That was very nice of them.
But as excited as we both were to see Santa, it was more of an excited from a distance kind of a thing...cause once it was our turn, well, it was a whole different story.
Aerin would not sit on his lap and started crying and only wanted Mum. As soon as Santa gave her a candycane, well, then we were able to get a pic of her standing in front of Santa.
Scott was the same way. There was no way he was gonna sit on his knee...which is kinda funny cause he even told Mum what he was going to ask Santa for.
But once Santa pulled out that candycane, he wasn't so bad. Not so good that Scott would sit on his knee, but he did stand in front of Santa for a picture.

The Kahle Kids

Well, here it is.
Mum decided that with baby Liam on his way (and the need to be fair and to make a blog for him, too) that it would just be easier to do 1 blog for all of us...really, can you blame her???
So, allow us to introduce ourselves.
Right now there is Camille.
Camille is 18 now (as of October). She is a senior in high school. She really enjoys singing and has a beautiful voice.
Solomon is 11 (and will be 12 in April). He is in grade 6. He played football this year in school and also played volleyball.
Scott just turned 3 just a couple of days ago. He is a riot. Scott is the most tender-loving and sweet boy. He adores Aerin and loves calling her "BickeyButt"...aka TurkeyButt. Mum made the mistake of calling Aerin a TurkeyButt once, and well, that's all it takes for a copycat to start...lol.
Aerin will be 2 in March. She is growing up so fast. She has the most beautiful blonde curls...Mum LOVES them. She is so different from Scott...she is bossy, and although she does love Scott very much, she is not as interested in being nice to him, like he is to her...lol.
Liam (William) is due to be born Feb. 19th. He is very active (just like the rest of us were).
I guess that is a good little introduction for now.
Our old blogs are still working, but Mum doesn't think she will update them anymore...just this one.
If anyone knows of anyway to transfer posts from our old blogs to this one, Mum would love to know, cause she couldn't figure out a way.
